We believe the jungle is the original artist. The studio didn’t impose itself on the land — it was built by listening to what this place wanted to be. We record for artists from all over the world looking for an honest sound and a space to create, far from the noise.
Founded in 2023 by Kyle Hann, originally from Michigan, La Colina is the realization of a simple idea: that making music takes time, space, and silence. Kyle left the daily grind behind to build, deep in the jungle of Santa Teresa, a place where artists could live the full experience of recording — not just a studio, but a temporary home designed to inspire.

Producer
Juani Maidana
Juan Ignacio Maidana is a producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist from Buenos Aires, now based in Santa Teresa. With more than ten years of experience across rock, indie, hip hop, jazz, and world music, he approaches every project from behind the drums and guitar, with a hands-on, always collaborative style.
He has produced for artists across Latin America, Europe, and the United States, both in the studio and remotely. He now brings that experience to La Colina, where he works alongside a trusted team of session musicians to take every production from start to finish.
